Multi-Domain Setup
How It Works
Each website can have the same domain name with different TLDs and subdomains. Different domain names require separate websites.
Important: Domain-Specific Scripts
Give each domain its own script URL matching that exact domain. A bundle is licensed to the whole website, so it will still run on any other domain registered to the same website - but the domain in the URL is the one a visit is attributed to, so mixing them up scrambles your per-domain stats. A domain that belongs to a different website, or to no website at all, is refused outright and the widget does not load.
Same Website ✓
All these can share one website (same base name "example"):
A leading www. is stripped when a domain is saved, so www.example.com is not a separate entry - it is already covered by example.com, and both forms share one script tag.
Separate Websites ✗
Different domain names need separate website IDs:
Adding Domains
- Go to your customer panel
- Select the website
- Add domains in the Domains section
- Add each domain's script to its respective site
Staging Domains
You can add staging subdomains to test before going live:
Visitors from all domains count toward the website’s monthly allowance, staging included. The allowance counts unique visitors per month, not page views.
Billing
Same domain name: All domains share one plan. Visitors are combined.
Different domain names: Each website needs its own plan.
