Low contrast textVisitors raise contrast in the widget; we report the measured pair
Missing image alt textOn Shopify our AI writes corrected alt text back into the catalogue
Missing form input labels1 line of markup per field
Empty linksAI drafts the wording, including for the “click here” kind
Empty buttonsNo accessible name means invisible to a screen reader
Missing document language1 attribute on the html element
Three ways a finding gets closed. None of them is a script that rewrites your page.
We write the fix into your store
On Shopify, our AI drafts alt text for every catalogue image, you approve or edit it in the panel, and we save it back through the Admin API. It lives on the product from then on, so it is in your page source, your feeds and your exports - not painted over at load.
The widget adjusts it for one visitor
Contrast, text size, spacing and 32 more adjustments run in the browser of the visitor who turned them on, and only for them. Nothing changes for anyone who does not ask, and nothing changes in your markup.
You get the element, the rule and the markup
Labels, empty controls and document language are one line each. The report names the failing element, the WCAG rule behind it and the change to make, so it forwards straight to whoever owns the template.
What we do not do is rewrite your page in the browser. No script that injects ARIA over your markup, guesses alt text on load, or repaints the page when it detects a scanner. That approach is what the FTC has already acted on, and it leaves the source exactly as broken as it was - invisible to your feeds, your exports and anyone auditing you. Every fix above is either written into your source or applied in one visitor's own session, and the report tells you which.

Certified where it counts
The standards the storefront work is held to are the ones the scanner and the widget are built under - which is why the widget ships as a real theme app embed, not a script tag you paste and hope for.

Yes. You get your score and your most serious findings on the page, and the full report by email, with no credit card and no account. We ask for an email address because that is where the full report goes.
It runs the page through 90+ automated WCAG 2.1 checks using the industry-standard axe-core engine, covering issues like missing image alt text, low colour contrast, unlabelled form fields, missing document structure and keyboard-accessibility problems. Each issue is rated by severity.
No, and nobody selling you a widget can honestly say otherwise. Automated testing catches roughly 30 to 40% of accessibility issues and is the fastest way to find the most common ones. Full ADA and European Accessibility Act compliance also requires manual testing with assistive technology. Use this scan as the starting point, then remediate what it surfaces.
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, published by the W3C. Most accessibility laws, including the ADA in the US and the European Accessibility Act, point to WCAG 2.1 Level AA as the benchmark. This checker tests against those success criteria.
Your score is the share of automated checks the page passes, from 0 to 100. A higher score means fewer detected barriers. It is an indicator of automated-testing health, not a legal compliance certificate.
Every finding links to plain-language guidance. You can remediate the code yourself, hand the report to whoever does, or install the widget to help visitors while the underlying work happens. On Shopify, our AI can write corrected image alt text straight back into your catalogue.
